The 7th Spring Blessing Festival kicked off on Feb.8 in Beihai Park’s Chanfu Temple and will last until Feb.20. The imperial blessing performance will be staged twice a day from Feb.14 to 20. It is recorded that grand blessing events were held every first two weeks on the lunar calendar in the Qing Dynasty to bless the country and the people.
