Crazy weather is never far from showing its face in China, and this time it’s poor old Guizhou that has taken a hit. Around 21:00 on March 12, Guizhou’s Guiding County experienced its most intense case of hail in 100 years, which caused more than 14 million RMB in damage to villages and local ironworks. The hailstorm lasted around 30 minutes, with the biggest hailstones clocking in around seven centimeters in diameter. In total, 27 homes, crops, and trees in five villages were affected.
