The 2012 Big Love Music Festival (大爱成都音乐节) takes over Chengdu’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Park from June 21-24. The festival looks set to be the party of the year in Chengdu, with over 100 acts from home and abroad scheduled to perform over four days. And if everything goes to plan (you never know with festivals in China), a number of high profile foreign acts will hit up the stage, including Suede (UK), Ash (UK), Extreme (US), Cosmic Gate (Germany), Ken Ishii (Japan) and Blue (UK). The domestic line-up looks impressive too, with ‘Godfather of Rock’ Cui Jian, Wang Feng, Xie Tianxiao, Longshendao, Hanggai, Re-Tros, New Pants and many more on the performance roster.
