Lactation masseuses carry out the practice of using acupuncture and massage techniques to help women, well, lactate more; a profession which is currently very profitable in China. As the nature of the job involves coming into contact with various delicate areas of the body, women are usually employed in this field. However, one 29-year-old man from Puyang, Henan recently became the third male lactation masseuse in China.  

Yang Jun currently runs a salon in Puyang where he provides this service. Although his parents initially objected to the idea of their son performing such massages on women on a daily basis, they eventually got used to it. He also had trouble with explaining his job to his girlfriend who was at first jealous of Yang’s daily duties, though she eventually came round to understanding.

However, traditions in China are hard to break, and due to many women in need of treatment not being comfortable with a male masseuse, Yang currently only has two regular clients, and as each 200 RMB session takes well over 90 minutes to complete, Yang has had difficulty in striking gold so far.
