On December 3rd, a Beijing- Shanghai high-speed train reached its highest speed at 486.1 km per hour in its trial run, setting a new world train speed record for the second time. The old record was also made by the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail on September 28th with the speed of 416.6km per hour.
