Three intercity railways including Beijing-Zhangjiakou, Beijing-Tangshan and Beijing-Shenyang Express Rails are expected to be constructed within the year. Beijing-Tangshan and Beijing-Shenyang trains depart from Beijing East Station and Beijing-Zhangjiakou from Beijing North Station. After completion, it will take less than 1 hour, 2 hour and 2.5 hours from Beijing to Tangshan, Zhangjiakou and Shenyang respectively.
