From Mar. 8th, passengers can buy Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway IC card instead of tickets when taking Beijing-Tianjin intercity trains.
Now the cards are available in Beijing South Station, Tianjin Station, Wuqing Station and Tanggu Station. There are two types of cards, RMB 1000 for a normal card and RMB 3000 for a golden card. The validity is 2 years after purchase plus a RMB 10 admin charge.
