Beijing Subway Line 5 to Limit Passenger Flow in Peak Hours
Dec 04, 2009 By eChinacities.com

The stations on the north part of subway line 5 in Beijing handle the largest passenger flow, especially at the densely populated area of Tiantongyuan. Starting from Dec. 2nd, stations including Tiantongyuanbei and Tiantongyuan may limit the passenger flow at any time during the peak period in the mornings (7:30 – 8:30). Passengers will be required to stand in line and go along the S-shaped passway to get in to the station. Other stations, including Liujiayao, Dongdan and Huixin Xijie Nankou may also take some measures to limit the flow during rush hours.
