Beijing Subway Line 10 Phase Two Starts Construction

Construction of the second phase of Beijing Subway Line 10 started on February 22nd. It is scheduled that Phase Two constructions will link with that of Phase One and start full operations some time in 2010. Phase Two construction of metro line 10 span between the 3rd and 4th Ring Roads, beginning with the south end of Jinsong station and ending with the west side of Bagou station – both stations of the Phase One part of constructions. After it is fully completed, metro line 10 will span a total of 32.44 km – a circular transit line with 23 stations (12 of which are stations for interchange between lines) and two large parking lots.
