Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Rail (Shanghai Section) Begins Trial Run

A new high-speed EMU and a 400-kilometers/hour high-speed detection train began a test run on the Shanghai section of the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Rail (Zaozhuang West Station - Nanjing - Shanghai Hongqiao Station) on February 20th. It’s reported that the Shanghai section of the Beijing – Shanghai High-speed Rail will start regular trial operations from mid-May to mid-June. According to the Ministry of Railways of China, the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Rail will officially open for operation this June. However, the ticket price has not yet been determined.
