American publication The Daily Meal released the results of their 101 Best Restaurants in Asia survey on May 16. The survey polled 11 Asian countries, with the criteria being flavor, cooking style, and value.

Taiwan’s Din Fai Tung came out on top, with The Daily Meal praising their Xiao Long Bao as “arguably the world’s best”. The runner-up was Beijing’s Duck de Chine, which offers a French twist on the staple Beijing delicacy.

In the top 20 names on the list, half of the restaurants were located in Beijing, with names Susu, Dali Courtyard, and Capital M all making appearances. The top ten also saw appearances from New Delhi eatery Varq, Hong Kong restaurant Caprice, and Japan’s Michael Bras TOYA Japon.
