Beijing Plans to Raise Water Price by 0.9 RMB per ton

Beijing is planning to raise the price of water for residential use from 3.7 RMB to 4.6 RMB per cubic metre. A public hearing on the water price issue will be held on Dec. 16, after which readjustments will be made.
