Dec 07, 2009 By eChinacities.com

In 2002, the Beijing Festival Chorus burst onto the Beijing classical music theme to sold out performances of Mozart’s Requiem at the Forbidden City Concert Hall. The group focuses on large scale choral works such as Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil and the China première of Bach’s St. Matthew Passion. Composed of both professionals and amateurs, the chorus has been gaining a steady following and always leave audiences craving for more. Enjoy this magnificent chorus’s festive performance on December 26th at the concert hall of Qintai Culture and Art Centre. For tickets click here or here.
