On Jun. 1st 2009, the beach-theme amusement park in Chaoyang Park transformed from the Olympic beach volleyball venue will open to visitors. In the 20,000-sq.m sand playground, the most unique is the 3,000-sq.m air film hall, which will be mostly used for playing beach volleyball. Besides this there will be a 17,000-sq.m open-air beach will open in summer. There is also a uniquely designed 5,000-sq.m curved-shaped swimming pool.
