The Beijing Municipal Traffic Bureau has advised commuters to avoid having to pass through Chang'an Avenue between the hours 8:00 – 9:00 and 17:00 – 18:00 for the duration of the annual government meetings (NPC and CPPCC). Also during the previously stated hours (marking the start and end of the daily meetings), temporary traffic restrictions will apply for commutes in and around Zhonglou North Bridge, Jianguomen Bridge, and Fuxingmen Bridge areas.
