If you’re not all festivaled out from the Qingdao Beer Festival, don’t miss out on the thumping rock n’ roll beach party that is the Ark Music Festival! Taking place on August 19th and 20th at Bathing Beach Number 3, the festival brings together some of the biggest names from China’s rock scene, such as ‘the Godfather of rock n’ roll’ Cui Jian and the man vying to kick him off his thrown, Xie Tianxiao. Other popular bands in the line-up include electro-pop group Pet Conspiracy, the Rastafarian reggae/hip hop ensemble Longshendao and many more.
