In the latest development regarding China’s ongoing qualms with Apple, CEO Tim Cook released an apology to Chinese consumers on April 1 promising to improve their services.

In a statement which appeared on Apple’s website, Cook said, “After deep reflection we would like to express our sincerest apologies for any concerns or misunderstandings.”

Apple have subsequently adjusted maintenance and warranty policies for iPhone 4 and 4s, which means that if any problems are found within 15 days of purchase, the phone will be replaced and given a new one-year warranty. However, the policies do not cover the iPhone 5.
