Ancient Temple Park: Enjoy it for Free!

The Ancient temple park is located in Wangsiying area, southeast of Chaoyang District of Beijing and has an area of 55.7 hectares. This park is named after a Buddhist temple built in 1538 of the Ming Dynasty in it, which is a municipal heritage.

There are four major scenic spots in the park and the most famous is the Central Lake Area, which is called Colorful Spring Garden, including Flowers Stage, Begonia Square, Pavilion with corridors and spring folding water etc. The city garden landscape goes with the natural beauty of the ancient temple, together with environmental friendly public service facilities. In addition, there are more than 200 kinds of plants and flowers that account for about 220,000 pieces in the park. Meanwhile, you can go to the tea house and chess room which are very quiet to have a rest.

Driving Route: Go along Jingshen Highway and go out at the chemical factory exit, turn left at Wangsiying Bridge and go north for one kilometer then get to Jingtong Highway to Gaobeidian Bridge, then go south for two kilometers.
Bus Route: Take No.363 or 753 bus and get off at Wangsiying stop, and go north for 500 meters at the east side, then take No.455 bus to Guanyintang Stop,and go south another 500 meters.
