Airport Metro Trains To Run Every 10 Minutes

The transit line servicing the Beijing airport spans a total distance of 28.1 km and has four stations. Since opening, trains have run 15 minutes apart, and a total of 144 trains have been deployed for service each day.

Starting July 26th, the wait between trains servicing to the airport will be shortened to 10 minutes, and a total of 196 trains will be deployed each day, raising the line’s transport capacity by 36%. The shortened wait time will produce a 50% boost in transport efficiency.
