Feb 22, 2010 By eChinacities.com

The acrobatic version of Journey to the West (Xi You Ji) will be staged in Wuhan Mar. 4-5. Journey to the West is one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature, originally published in the 1590s during the Ming Dynasty. The novel has now been adapted to acrobatic performance, the first time, at least according to event organizers, that a Chinese literary classic has presented in such a way.
