Acoustic Guitarist Masaaki Kishibe Performs on May 20th

Japanese acoustic guitarist Masaaki Kishibe performs at Ruiyin Livehouse in Changchun on May 20th. Born in Osaka, Kishibe secured a spot at Berklee School of Music in Boston but failed to graduate. After returning to Japan, he continued to teach himself figure-style guitar playing, and began writing his own compositions. He has since recorded a number of albums and has gained recognition for his finger-style guitar playing in both the US and Asia.
