Abercrombie and Fitch Ploughs Into Chinese Market, Plans to Add 100 Stores
May 15, 2014 By eChinacities.com

American clothing brand Abercrombie and Fitch (A&F) hopes to open more than 100 new stores in China over the next ten years, in a big push into the growing Chinese consumerist market. The brand will open both A&F and Hollister shops, both selling what they company calls “casual luxury” clothing items.

China is a great market for the brand to expand into as China moves towards a consumer market and because of the average size of Chinese people. A&F are a brand well known for only stocking small sizes so as to keep from fat or ugly people from being seen in their threads. So the sizes seem to fit the Chinese market really well.

Expect to see many more branches of the “Hey dude, what’s up” brand popping up near you between now and 2024.
