APEC: Extra Trains on Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway Track

21 extra trains will be added along the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed railway track in order to cope with increasing amounts of traffic as a result of the APEC Summit in Beijing.

The Shanghai Transport Department explains that starting on October 5, until October 12, there will be extra trains on the trajectory. The extra trains will be added as follows:
November 6: two between Beijing South and Shanghai Hongqiao, one between Beijing South and Heifei and one between Beijing South and Hangzhou East.
November 7: one between Beijing South and Hefei, one between Beijing South and Hangzhou East.
November 8: one between Beijing South and Hangzhou East.
November 11 and 12: five between Beijing South and Shanghai Hongqiao, one between Beijing South and Hangzhou East and one between Beijing South and Hefei.
