A dispute between neighbors turned deadly with the death of eight people in a knife attack on Wednesday morning. The attack happened at roughly 04:00 Wednesday morning in a village in Henan Province.
The suspect, 41 year old Li, handed himself over to the police after the attack. Eight people from one family died, including three children and five adults.
The reason Li gave for the vicious attack was the mirror that the other family fixed on their gate that directly faced his door. According to Chinese superstition, a mirror hung outside a house will deflect bad luck. Officers said that Li had ‘objected’ to the mirror as it would send bad luck in his direction.

5000 year of 'wisdom' teaches them to see themselves through other people's eyes. It is no mystery they find mirrors facing their house bad luck; how dare you put a mirror in front of me, I can't give myself face!

Why didn't he hang a mirror up opposite to the neighbors' mirror? Then it would be like an infinite loop of bad luck cutting through that plot of space between those houses.

I agree proven as obviously he was not the one that was sliced up and they were. So I guess the whole "deflecting bad luck" thing was wrong... 8 people dead because of a mirror... why wouldn't he just throw a rock at the mirror? Cause of 7 years of bad luck? Dumb.
