7.9% of Beijing Lawyers Earn Over One Million Yuan

The annual income of lawyers in Beijing varies quite significantly, according to a survey by the Beijing Lawyers Association. 7.9% of the surveyed lawyers earn more than one million yuan a year while 40% of lawyers’ annual salary falls between 50,000 RMB and 150,000 RMB. Half of the law offices were affected by the financial crisis and nearly 30% of law offices’ business fell by over 20%.
