Who said grannies weren’t hip? 72 year-old DJ Mamy Rock is set to spin the decks at Shenzhen’s Pepper Club on March 17. Real name Ruth Flowers, Mamy Rock became an active DJ at the ripe age of 66 in 2006, with her first major performance being in front a crowd including Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. Since then, she has gone on to perform at venues around the world with electro and hip-hop focused sets.
