One stellar parent caused a minor stir online this week as he was driven home in the back of an electric flat bed bicycle-by his seven year old son.
A picture, showing the man passed out in the trailer of the bike whilst his young son drove, was posted by the Guangxi Daily on January 7. According to ifeng.com, the boy actually left home to go and pick up his inebriated father and drive him home- a journey totaling 20 km.
Netizens were both impressed and concerned, with several praising the boy for his calm attitude and sense of responsibility at such a young age- others were extremely concerned, pointing out that this doesn’t appear to be the first time this has happened.
There has been no police investigation into the incident so far.
