7 Foreigners in Shanghai Arrested for Using Fake Credit Cards

Shanghai police have arrested seven foreigners suspected of being part of a group responsible for credit card fraud. They are accused of forging overseas cards to buy luxury items in the city, especially in high-end department stores on Nanjing West Road and Huaihai Road. Forging more than 150 credits cards, the criminal group bought luxury brands like LV, Chanel and Apple in Shanghai’s business districts. The fraud amounts to 1 million RMB (156,000 USD).
