Of Dalian Taxi Company’s 1300 taxis, 500 recently installed mobile point-of-sales devices. Using this payment method will make taxi rides more convenient, and reduce the amount of counterfeit bills received by drivers. During the trial period, all taxis with the device installed will have a notice on the passenger side. The device is linked to the taximeter, so taxi fare payment is just a swipe and a pin-code punch away, eliminating the irritating search for change. As always don’t forget to get a receipt.
