Starting September 1st, five parks in Xining – namely Renmin Park, Nanshan Park, Wenhua Park, Huangshui Forest Park and Botanical Garden – are to open to visitors for free. Along with Qilin Bay Park, six out of the seven municipal parks are free to visitors except for the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Wildlife Zoo.
