24 Giraffes on Special Flight from South Africa Arrive in Kunming

At 11:00 on November 25, 24 giraffes traveled to China on a special Boeing 747 flight from Johannesburg, South Africa. After a layover in Singapore, they finally arrived at Changshui International Airport at 16:14 on November 26.

This is the greatest influx of giraffes into China. These 24 giraffes that are headed for the Yunnan Wild Animal Zoo are mostly young animals; the group is comprised of 6 male giraffes and 18 female giraffes.
