2015 Traffic Analysis Names Beijing, Shanghai Most Congested Cities in China
Apr 26, 2015 By eChinacities.com

On April 22, a domestic provider of digital maps and navigation issued the “2015 First Quarter Traffic Analysis of China's Major Cities.” Beijing was ranked as the most congested city over the first few months of 2015. Shanghai was next, followed by Jinan, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Harbin, Tianjin, Nanning, Wuhan, and Shijiazhuang.

The report predicts that heavy traffic in Beijing will continue throughout the second quarter of 2015. Each of the cities listed have different issues when it comes to traffic congestion. Hangzhou, for example, has especially bad traffic on its urban freeways, for almost 10 hours all day. The Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area is the most congested area in the entire city.
