Shenzhen Gemdale Open, part of the WTA International Series, will be held from December 30, 2012 to January 5, 2013 on the outdoor courts of the Shenzhen Longgang Tennis Center. 32 singles and 16 doubles will battle it out for a slice of the prize money which totals $500,000. China’s own Grand Slam Champion, Li Na, will spearhead the field. She will be joined by Marion Bartoli of France and Serbia’s former world #1 player, Jelena Jankovic.
