2011 Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival to Open at Gucun Park

The 2011 Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival will kick off on March 30th at Gucun Park, the largest suburban forest park in Shanghai. According to reports, more than 10, 000 cherry blossoms from 20 varieties will be blooming throughout the festival which will run until April 20. Some cherry blossom trees planted at the park are over 50 years old and are well worth seeing.

Ticket fare: 20 RMB per person.
Getting there: Take Metro Line 7 and get off at Gucun Park Station.
