The 2010 West Lake Food Festival kicked off on March 27th and will run until March 31st. This year’s festival theme is “Anticipate the World Expo, Enjoy the Arts and Delicious Food”. The festival features two main activities: a gallery exhibition showcasing artworks of over a hundred Chinese painters and calligraphers at the West Lake Art Museum; and a live cooking session where chefs from famous Chinese restaurants in Guangzhou, Beijing, and Suzhou have gathered to entice and please those of you that enjoy Guangzhou cuisine, Peking duck, and West Lake sweet & sour fish.
