 1st Harbin Street Music Festival Debuts

On August 5th, the opening ceremony for the 1st Harbin Street Music Festival was held at Flood Control Memorial Tower Square. The opening ceremony lasted three days: the first day saw a number of renowned bands of different styles (Jazz, Latin, Rock’n Roll and Folk Songs) from Spain, Russia and China performing for three consecutive hours. Other bands were also performing at intersections between Central Street and Xitoudao Street, Sidao Street, Jiudao Street as well as in front of Suning Appliances. It is reported that the festival will last 63 days from August 5th to October 7th.
