17 Dead, Hundreds Injured in Tianjin Warehouse Explosion

17 people were killed and hundreds injured after a warehouse in Tianjin's port exploded in flames. Two explosions occurred at the site.

The warehouse in question is owned by Tianjin Dongjiang Port Rui Hai International Logistics Co. Ltd., and stored “dangerous goods.”

283 has been hospitalized with injuries, and 32 are critically ill. The injured were rushed to the hospital, and fire fighters and rescue workers are still trying to control the site.  A number of rescue workers are still trapped inside.

Air quality in the area has been rated as normal.
