Fifteen Chinese women have been named on Forbes’ 50 Asia Power Businesswomen list this year, including two from the same company, for the first time since the list was first published four years ago.

The rankings include businesswomen from 16 countries and territories in Asia, and represent a vast range of industries.

Alibaba’s Maggie Wu and Lucy Peng were both on the list, as well as several property development moguls such as Zhang Xin of SOHO China and Sona Cheng, CEO of the Hong Kong Rosewood Hotel Group.

12 Asian women also feature on Forbes’ ‘women to watch’ rankings, including Didi Da Che president, Jean Liu.

How is this an 'achievement'? China is the biggest economy in the world (according to China) and has 1.3 billion people. This list only includes Asian countries. So doing the math what percentage of women in Asia are in China? At least 70% (just guessing). But 1/3 of the 50 are Chinese women, and that's an achievement?

It's an achievement for a superficial shithole with no decent accomplishments.
