The 13th Wuqiao International Acrobatics Festival will be held in Shijiazhuang from October 22nd to October 30th. Over 200 acrobats from 17 regions and countries will compete for the title of “Golden Lion”. Founded in 1987, the China Wuqiao International Acrobatic Festival was named after Wuqiao, a well-known hometown of acrobatics in Hebei Province. This festival, held every two years, has the longest history and largest scale of any national level acrobatic festival in China. As it is an international competition, the festival has formed a set of internationally recognised rules and awards similar to those of other international acrobatic competitions, such as the Monte Carlo International Acrobatics Festival and the International Circus Festival of Tomorrow in Paris.
