A 10 week old male baby has been snatched from inside his home in Hebei province. Police have mounted a full scale search and are offering a huge 100,000 RMB reward for information that could lead to his safe return.
The mother of the boy was taking out the trash when the baby went missing, at around 20:00 on May 31. The police have visited the neighbourhood and checked surveillance footage but haven’t yet retrieved any useful information.
The baby’s mother, a housewife, said that she was outside for only a few minutes, prompting widespread concern among families over the safety of their children.
Child trafficking is a serious problem in China, with baby boys in particular fetching very high prices. Hopefully a lead will emerge soon, and the child can be returned to his family.

This is horrible. Not only do they lose a son, the wife probably blames herself... along with the rest of the family. I hope they find their son but I am guessing the chances are very slim since it seems pretty organized and planned out (like someone was waiting for her to leave and no just a spontaneous act).

slim ta none is probably the sad fact. Pretty, pretty bad state of affairs when one can't even have safety for their children. Kind of makes society mote. What they need is a jolly good old war and start again, again again.
