10 Wal-Mart Stores Closed Down and Fined 2.69 million RMB

10 Wal-Mart stores in Chongqing were ordered to close for 15 days after it was discovered that they were selling ordinary pork as green pork. They were also ordered to pay a fine of 2.69 million RMB. Wal-Mart has 13 stores in Chongqing, 12 of which had made 730,000 RMB in extra profits from the sale of 63,547 kilograms of falsely labelled pork during a 20 month-long period.
