Real Name Registration for Online Retailers Begins Jul 1

According to latest bulletin posted on the State Administration for Industry & Commerce website, beginning July 1st, the bureau will start reinforcing new regulations regarding the management of internet retail of products and services. The new regulations stipulate that online retailers, including individuals, must register their real name and address with the website that provides the e-commerce transactions.

In turn, the websites that provide e-commerce transactions have the responsibility to verify the information submitted by the people and organizations providing the retail of products and services via their site.
