Many people are familiar with the many serious-faced security guards that camp out at places ranging from neighbourhood gates to schools ensuring no dodgy characters crop up where they shouldn’t be, and 54 year-old Wuhan native Liu Jianguo is no exception. This is his night time job however, as by day he is known as Kaka, the colorful clown who parades up and down the streets of Wuhan entertaining citizens in his dazzling outfits and roller-skates.
Marrying his passion of roller-skating and fascination of clowns, Kaka designed his own clown costume from various recycled materials and now takes to the streets performing tricks to brighten up the day of any nearby pedestrian.
