Police noticed a man driving a suspicious looking Smart Car in Shanghai on January 17 and pulled him over to investigate. Turns out the car is a fake, with a cardboard number plate and running off a rechargeable battery.
The man says he bought the car at an unidentified factory in Shandong province and uses the car every day. The police have issued him with a fine and are investigating the car manufacture.
