A man has been detained after threatening to blow up Beijing Capital Airport’s Terminal 3. The man was upset after he had lost his passport and was displeased with the airport staff’s handling of it.
The day before yesterday, operators for the police emergency line, 110 received a call: “Hey, is that 110? I want to blow up the airport.” The police contacted airport security who rushed to the east hall of terminal 3, where the call had originated from and took the caller, Guo, into custody.
According to the police who interviewed Guo, as he was transferring to a plane to Zhuhai, he lost his passport, after which he made the call. He apparently also expressed that he wanted to “blow up the airport” to airport staff.
Security screenings showed that Guo had no explosives on him.
He has been put into administrative detention for 10 days by airport security.

"The man was upset after he had lost his passport and was displeased with the airport staff’s handling of it". What, they didn't instantly give him another passport and let him on the plane? The unreasonable bastards!
