Police responding to a call in a Heilongjiang city about a disturbance at a man’s house received quite a shock the other night from something that resembled a scene straight out of a comedy. A man in his early 50’s complained about a person knocking on his window for 20 minutes, and the perpetrator at the window ended up being a 72 year-old woman.

The two were hardly strangers. Here’s were the story gets funny: the single and looking 51 year-old man was introduced to the old lady at his friend’s wedding, where his friend introduced the two. After a short and simple chat the man figured he wasn’t much interested in the woman and never imagined that she’d pay any attention to him - much less want to live with him. After refusing the old lady the man found himself continuously having to avoid her or be faced with dealing with her advances, which was the reason he called the police on her for knocking on his window that night.

After the police showed up, the lady realized she was allowing her infatuation to become excessive and has since decided on more milder means of pursuit. The chase goes on.
