Kindergarten Kids “Married” in Bizarre Wedding Ceremony

Kindergarten Kids “Married” in Bizarre Wedding Ceremony
Feb 01, 2013 By eChinacities.com

On the afternoon of January 11, a kindergarten in Zhengzhou held a large wedding ceremony, though it wasn’t the teachers getting married. Over 100 of the school’s toddlers were “married” in a mock ceremony with all the trimmings, including rings, dresses, confetti and cake.

Dressed in suits and doused in makeup, the kids were assembled in the meeting room of the kindergarten and were made to go up on a stage to say their vows in front of a proud audience of parents.

Upon saying their vows the miniature brides and grooms swore to look after each other if they were sick and to stick up for them if they were being bullied.

A mother named Mrs. Liu stated she supported the idea, saying “the children at this kindergarten now understand more about life than others. It’s a good way to teach them to be more grownup.”
