Hubei Man Arrested for Peddling Viagara Spiked Baijiu
Aug 18, 2014 By eChinacities.com

A businessman in Jianshi County in Central China’s Hubei Province has been arrested for selling baijiu laced with drugs for treating erectile disfunction.

The man, surnamed Huang, bought a kilogram of a drug called sildenafil from the internet and has been adding it to the baijiu being processed at his factory since February. Sildenafil is a major component of Viagara.

He apparently wanted to boost sales and hoped that the viagara would give the liquor an extra ‘kick’. He was arrested on Saturday. Local authorities are now in the process of removing the liquor from the market.
