Hangzhou Man Attempts to Rob Bank with Empty Plastic Bottles
Dec 11, 2012 By eChinacities.com

On the afternoon of Dec 6, a man ran into a China Agriculture Bank in Hangzhou threatening to detonate a bomb in the bag he was carrying if staff did not hand over money. When no money was given to him, he quickly fled the scene but not before dropping his bomb-containing bag on the floor of the bank. Staff and customers evacuated the building and police sealed off the area shortly afterwards. However, when a special task force opened the bag, they found nothing but two empty bottles and an electronic bell. The case is currently under investigation.
