At 12:56 on April 26, a thief in his twenties was being pursued by a security guard and a woman whose phone he’d just stolen at Beijing’s Chongwenmen Subway Station. During the pursuit, the thief jumped off the subway platform and onto the tracks, causing station workers to halt nearby trains.
The thief then ran all the way to the Beijing Railway Station subway station, where he was then caught by platform guards. The police are currently investigating the event.
